The TI-DOLORE Clinic, a Category A training center for interventional pain therapy, is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and clinically excellent professional with a strong interest in research to join our team in Mendrisio, Ticino, Switzerland.

Our range of services includes fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided injections, including cervical procedures such as epidural injections and facet joint denervations, intradiscal procedures, neuroablation, sympathetic ganglion blocks, peripheral nerve blocks, and neuromodulation (e.g., spinal, dorsal, and ganglionic stimulation; peripheral nerve stimulation; and intrathecal pumps).

We collaborate with psychologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, nutritionists, medical hypnosis specialists, physical therapists, and other therapists. We are also part of the Swiss Medical Network (Ars Medica Clinic) and collaborate with the University of Italian-Speaking Switzerland.

Available Positions

We are offering a position for one of the following roles:

Pain Fellow

Medical assistant or specialist for in-depth training in interventional pain management; a full-time position for 1 year (or longer if part-time), with the potential for a long-term collaboration.

Pain Management Specialist

Permanent position with opportunities for professional development.

Scope of Work: Full-time or part-time positions available.

Requirements

For both positions:

  • A Swiss medical degree or MEBEKO certification is required or in progress.
  • Language skills: 
    • Italian: Minimum B2.
    • English: Good to very good (written and spoken).

For resident physicians or specialists in training (Pain Medicine, SSIPM):

  • Ongoing or completed specialized training in anesthesiology, neurology, or neurosurgery, or MEBEKO certification, is required or in progress.

For pain management specialists:

  • The candidate has completed specialized training in anesthesiology, neurology, or neurosurgery, or has obtained or is in the process of obtaining MEBEKO certification.
